About

I am male, Norwegian and born in 1984, which makes me 26 years old according to recent calculations. After spending my first 19 years in Grimstad, I moved to Trondheim where I stayed for four years doing a masters degree in Physics (engineering degree, applied physics or technical physics as they call it). My final year of the master thesis was done at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. Afterwards I started a PhD in accelerator physics which I am still not finished with.

In my spare time I surf the web too much, watch videos, listen to music, play games, hang out with friends, cycle, do snowboarding and skiing in the winter. My blog is for the most part (so far) related to technical/programming stuff I come across. I have been using linux systems for a few years now, so quite a few of the posts already are about tips I want to share. Otherwise, I will probably add some general/personal stuff, and sometimes blog about life at CERN/life as a physicist etc. I hope some of it is read-worthy!
